How to reach the Maison d’Ammann

Walking

The Maison d’Ammann, in the Bourg area, is close to the Fribourg train station, the University (Miséricorde), the Collège St. Michel and is on the Pilgrimage Route of Santiago de Compostela .

By train

You will need about 10 minutes walk from Fribourg station, or get on a bus (No. 1, towards Portes-de-Fribourg or No. 2 towards Schoenberg or No. 6 towards Musy) and get off at Tilleul.

By car

… to the door, except on Saturday morning (due to market till 2 pm)

Parking

Parking on the Grand-Rue costs CHF 2 per hour (max. 2 hours), or CHF 12 per day (a parking card valid for 24 hours throughout the city can be obtained from the B&B Maison d’Ammann); it can be relatively difficult to find a parking space, especially between 12.00 pm and 1pm, and after 5pm.
